Initial Meeting
I meet the homeowner at the jobsite to measure out the backyard and house and collect all information on the wants and needs of the backyard.
Complimentary Design and Proposal Meeting
After initial meeting we will schedule an initial design and proposal meeting. This process takes place at the job site/house. We sit down review the design on my laptop and fine tune the design to meet exact wants and needs and the homeowner is 100% satisfied with the design and price.
Contract / Permits / HOA / Engineering
Upon closing a deal a contract signing will take place and only $1,000 deposit is required to start construction. We handle all permits and engineering but it is the homeowner's responsibility to contact their HOA and turn in the required paperwork. We will provide the homeowner with any required information or paperwork needed but homeowners' responsibility to send into their HOA.
Excavation
Upon approval of permits and HOA we can start with excavation. Excavation will begin with a layout of the pool and approved by homeowner before excavation commences. NOTE: Caliche and Hard Ground prevalent in the Vegas area.
Plumbing
Immediately after excavation pool plumbers will come out and run all underground plumbing to the pool and any other specified area. This includes all water and gas lines. All plumbing will be to Las Vegas codes and regulations.
Steel
After plumbing steel will come in and rebar the structure of the pool. Rebar will be set at 6in off center per Las Vegas code.
Rough Electric
All electrical conduit will be run underground. As well as all bonding wire to ground the pool and house.
Pre Gunite Inspection
(Depending on Jurisdiction) An inspector will come to the property and inspect all work completed. In order to move forward with the project with must pass this inspection.
Gunite
Gunite is a stronger and more durable form of concrete which will be the entire 1ft shell of the pool. This gunite shell will need to be watered twice a day for one week to ensure proper curing process. This structure also has a lifetime warranty.
Back Fill & Tile
A crew will come in to backfill all trenches left exposed for the inspection process. Tile will be installed at the waterline of all pools. Any additional features (Water/Fire Feature) will also be tiled as well. All tile will be picked by the homeowner with the guidance of your designer. Homeowners have final say in all finishes on the pool.
Decking
There are many types of decking (Spray Deck, Exposed Aggregate, Travertine and Porcelain Pavers). Whichever option is chosen the deck will be installed around the pool and any other specified location.
Final Electric
All lights and panels will be installed and turned on. All electrical lines are now active.
Pre Plaster Inspection
This inspection the homeowner will have to home for. This inspection requires access inside the house to ensure the pool safety alarms are installed in accordance with code. A pool approved gate to the backyard will also be installed to ensure all passing requirements are met.
Plaster
Plaster will be installed and will immediately start to fill with water to ensure the plaster holds properly. Homeowners will need to brush the plaster with the brush provided to you by Oracle Pools.
Start up and Pool School
Once the pool is filled with water all pool equipment will be turned on and professionally programmed to the homeowners specifications. Pool school will be followed up by an Oracle Pools Superintendent to go over all questions regarding to the pool and how to operate the pool correctly. This will include any questions regarding the app as well.
Pool Completion
Once pool is complete and all fine tuning is worked out, we will shake hands, collect a review and photos of the completed project.
